Loki (Pogo)
Adopted May 2023
“Loki was quite a personality right away for sure! Curious, huge appetite and lots of mischief, including the attempted theft of a mcchicken! He is absolutely the snuggliest cat probably ever to exist; he can't get close enough! Other than when he gets his wet food that is, then we’re chopped liver!
Every single one of our friends he meets he will cuddle with. He loves to talk back to us he, and he actually almost never stops - he’s quite vocal 😂 Loki is the exact character we were hoping for and the perfect fit for us and our two other cats! I always say he’s like a dog in a cat's body, with his desire for any and every human food and the ability to jump up and steal it, we have to treat him like a little toddler lol!” - Kenna
Stuart (Angus) & India (Bonnie)
Adopted June 2024
"Hi Amy & everyone at AAR! I just wanted to take a quick minute to send an update on the "terror twins" Stuart (Angus) and India (Bonnie). Since Stuart joined his sister, they have been almost inseparable - the only thing they love more than each other is affection (and chaos!)
They are an absolute joy to have as a part of our family and although we find ourselves perpetually needing to "Stu-proof" the most unexpected things in the house, we couldn't imagine life without them in it. Having one eye is not a disability to a kitten like Stu - he just thinks it makes him look cooler than everyone else! Rodney Dangerfield or Johnny Knoxville might have been more appropriate names for our boy!
Stu is so attached to our adult son and will scream loudly outside his bedroom door if he feels he hasn't received adequate affection. India on the other hand, is the annoying baby sister our Maine Coon Fiji. She mimics everything Fiji does - from her favorite hangout spots, to her sink-drinking routine.
The shenanigans these two get into are nothing short of comical! They are happy, healthy, and living their very best lives and we're so grateful to give them all the love and attention they deserve!
Thank you again for allowing us the joy of these two monkeys!"-The Wright Family
Petey
Adopted July 2023
"One month ago today we took home Chicken! Immediately we knew she was the perfect fit for our family. She is thriving here at home. She has endless toys and cat structures to play with-she even likes to mess around with some of the dog toys. She is curious about everything in the house, and loves to take her afternoon nap on any fuzzy blanket she can find-preferably close to a window.
She gets along very well with our adult tabby cat, Dumpling but our border collie dog, Ollie is definitely her best friend. The two play together all day. Sometimes she plays with the end of his rope toy when he brings it to her, or she sneaks up on him from one of her tunnels.
We feel very fortunate to have her as part of our family :) Thank you" -Elizabeth and Carter
Chicken
Adopted July 2023
"Hello! Here are some photos of how our boy Petey is adjusting, which is to say very well! He already felt right at home after about 2 hours. He’s always with us and follows us around! He’s such a wonderful cat. We are so happy!! Please feel free to share these with Heather [his foster mama] as well :)" - Sophie L.
